Kickoff tonight’s RAW, Becky Lynch makes a major announcement. Edge is on the hunt for former best friend turned rival, Randy Orton. In addition, we will take a look at highlights from last night’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event that aired on the WWE Network. MITB was filmed live from the Performance Center in Orlando, FL as well as the WWE “Titan Towers” Headquarters in Stanford, CT.
Show Opener
We see the “WWE Forever” logo as the opening sequence begins to start the May 11, 2020 edition of Monday Night RAW!! We head into a video package highlighting last night’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view event!
Broadcast Table
As the opening theme ends, we head into a video package as it is announced that Edge and Randy Orton will enter the ring Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy, finally, a new episode of “A Moment of Bliss” will take place tonight!
Becky Lynch In-Ring Promo
As we enter the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to kick off the show, our WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch’s music sounds. Lynch makes her way into the ring carrying a MITB briefcase. Lynch begins to speak, stating that she is torn between happiness and upset. Lynch points out in 2013 she walked into the ring, in this country not knowing anyone. She then stated that she didn’t know if anyone would care about the crazy Irish woman, and they ultimately carried her into history on their shoulders. Through tears, Lynch then states she wanted to tell the fans, she has to go away for a while.
Asuka’s music sounds as she makes her way down the ramp and into the ring. Asuka points to the briefcase Lynch brought down to the ring. Lynch explains that the match last night wasn’t just for an opportunity. “It wasn’t what you thought it was. It wasn’t for “an opportunity, it was much more.” Lynch states she knows that Asuka hasn’t been able to open the briefcase, due to the combination. Lynch proceeds to open the briefcase, exposing the Women’s Championship belt!
“You are the champion!” Lynch exclaims! Asuka questions, “I am the champion?” Lynch again states it. Asuka dances out of the ring with the belt, Lynch continues to cry, looking broken heated. Asuka dances up the ramp, jumping up onto the table. As happy as you are to be champion” Becky says through tears, “I may be a little bit happier.” Lynch finishes by stating, “You go be a warrior, because I’m going to go be a mother.”
Asuka begins a “Becky! Becky!” chant as they hug in ring, Lynch’s music sounds. Lynch walks up the ramp, looking around the Performance Center, tears rolling down her face as she looks into the camera, “I’ll be back” she states, as she heads off into the back.
Asuka holds the belt up in the air, still dancing around in celebration!! We head to commercial break.
Broadcaster’s Table
As we return from commercial break, we join Tom Phillips, Samoa Joe, and Byron Phillips at the broadcaster’s table. Phillips sends us to a video clip recapping the announcement made by Becky Lynch.
Backstage
We head to the backstage area where Charly Caruso is speaking to a still teary-eyed Becky Lynch. At the same time, Rey Mysterio joins Becky Lynch, stepping in to give Lynch a hug, stating, “From one parent to another, congratulations!” Then they are joined by Ricochet, Street Profits, Bianca Belair, R-Truth and several other superstars, all congratulating Lynch!
Bobby Lashley vs. Alberto Carrillo – No Disqualification Match
Out first for this “No Disqualification” match is Bobby Lashley, sans Lana as usual as of late. Lashley makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, awaiting his opponent. We see a video of Lashley in action last week as Lashley finishes his entrance into the ring. Out next is Alberto Carrillo as his music sounds in the arena. Carrillo makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring with Lashley. The referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and the match officially begins.
Slap to the face of Carrillo by Lashley, followed by Lashley shoving Carrillo into the corner. Lashley with a Splash followed by an Elbow, stopping Carrillo on the apron. Carrillo now Slaps Lashley across the face, Lashley drives Carrillo into the mat for the counter. As Carrillo struggles to his feet, Lashley heads in full force, Carrillo side-steps, Lashley lands on the outside of the ring.
Carrillo attempts to fly through the ropes, Lashley stopping Carrillo with a take-down. Lashley heads to the side of the ring, grabbing a steel chair and checking it’s strength as he looks down at it. Lashley looks back up just in time for Carrillo to land a Super-kick directly into the steel chair, and into Lashley driving him to the floor at ringside. We head to commercial break.
As we return from the commercial break, Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton discuss the clip that was shown as we returned from commercials. The clip showed Undertaker’s docu-series “The Last Ride” clip that played us back from commercial. We head back to the ring, match still in action.
A kick by Carrillo sending Lashley to the outside of the ring. Lashley runs full force, landing in the barricade. Lashley lifts Carrillo with ease, showing off the pure power and strength he holds. Lashley slams Carrillo into the ring post from the outside of the ring. Lashley once again picks up the steel chair. Lashley swings, Carrillo side steps, Lashley hurts himself hitting the ring post full force.
Carrillo picks up the steel chair and lands strike after strike on Lashley. Lashley returns to the ring, Carrillo climbing up onto the apron, jumping to the top rope for a high flying move on Lashley. Lashley catches Carrillo, locking in a Full Nelson back inside the ring by Lashley, Carrillo taps out. Lashley wins by submission!

Street Profits Video – Earlier Today
Montez Ford says to Angelo Dawkins, “Viking Raiders” in a deep voice, both members of Street Profits sit backstage earlier today in basketball gear. A Jordan/LeBron debate almost breaks out between the two men as they sit on a bench. Ford states, “The Street Profits are up, and… We. Want. The. Smoke!!
Backstage – Viking Raiders
Erik and Ivar of The Viking Raiders discuss the basketball game they have against the Street Profits later tonight. look at a basketball almost like they’ve never seen one. “We need to be physical, just like we are in the ring.” “We need to be careful of a “foul” Both superstars look confused.
Backstage – Asuka Is Interviewed
As we return from commercial break, we see Charly Caruso standing with Asuka. Caruso states she knows everything has happened really fast, but asks how Asuka feels now that she’s the champion. Asuka jabbers quickly in Japanese with laughs and smiles inbetween. She’s clearly excited!
Quick Announcement
Once again it is announced that Randy Orton and Edge will both be in the ring together for the first time since the Last Man Standing match at the Wrestlemania 36 pay-per-view event. We then get sent into a video package showing highlights from the match, Edge leaning his head on Orton as he wins the match.
As the video ends, commentary members Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, and Samoa Joe discuss their opinions on whether there will be a collision inside the ring as both Edge and Randy Orton enter the ring together for the first time since the Wrestlemania 36 pay-per-view.
Finally, they send us into a video of Apollo Crews in his match with Andrade where Crews attempts a Moonsault from inside the ring, over the rope to the outside, Crews tweaking his knee, causing injury. The referee ultimately calling stoppage to the match due to injury.
Backstage
As we return from the video of Apollo Crews’s injury in his match with Andrade, we see Zelina Vega is standing backstage with Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. An argument is going between the four as we head to commercial break.
Angel Garza vs. Akira Tozawa
As we return from commercial break, the commentary team announce this match is already in progress. Right to the midsection by Garza. Another massive shot by Garza, followed by the cover. Tozawa lands a strike. Garza then stretches Tozawa. Tozawa gets his leg up on the rope, the referee forces Garza to break the hold. Garza grabs Tozawa, holding him mid-air as he looks to Austin Theory who is standing at ringside. Garza shouts, “I can do this allllll day!” Wing Clipper by Garza, followed by the pin for the three count and the win!

After the Match
Garza once again stares down Theory. Garza mockingly states once again, “All week, all year, all day…” The argument is interrupted by Drew McIntyre’s music sounding in the Performance Center. McIntyre makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Garza, Andrade, and Theory stand together with Vega.
McIntyre states he was worried as they weren’t getting along. McIntyre lands a Claymore on Theory, then a Claymore on Garza. Andrade shouts “I am the champion!” in McIntyre’s face. Commentary asks “Could this be a match up of champion vs. champion?” McIntyre shoves Andrade as we head back to commercial break.
Andrade vs. Drew McIntyre
As we return from the commercial break once again, the referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and the match begins. Commentary notes this is an impromptu match-up after McIntyre made his way down to the ring, ready to fight in this champion vs. champion match up. Andrade cut down with a Back Elbow by McIntyre. McIntyre slams Andrade into the top turnbuckle.
Andrade turns it around, landing Chops on McIntyre. Andrade heads to the outside. McIntyre asks if Andrade needs to catch his breath. McIntyre follows Andrade to the outside. McIntyre lifts Andrade, Body Slam onto the apron. Andrade falls to the floor on the outside. Back to his feet, Andrade walks towards McIntyre.
McIntyre “Scottish Thunder rolling through the Islands” Vega even winces at that! Andrade is thrown into the barricade by McIntyre. Andrade rolls under the apron. McIntyre lifts the apron to pull Andrade out from beneath the ring. Andrade yanks on McIntyre’s arm, causing injury to McIntyre’s left arm. Both men make their way back into the ring.
Big Boot by McIntyre after he throws Andrade around the ring like a rag-doll. McIntyre heads to the top turnbuckle, McIntyre drops Andrade. McIntyre getting angrier and angrier. McIntyre slams Andrade to the mat, followed by the cover. Andrade kicks out at two. More back and forth inside the ring, Andrade lands Double Knees on Drew McIntyre in the corner of the ring. Andrade sets up for the Hammerlock DDT.
McIntyre counters out of the move. A back and forth Chop-fest. A Reverse Alabama Slam is botched. Andrade tries to escape, A Reverse Alabama Slam by McIntyre, Andrade slamming into the mat. McIntyre 3… 2… 1…. Claymore! McIntyre covers for the three count pin and win.

After the Match
The referee lifts Drew McIntyre’s arm in victory, McIntyre winces and lowers his left arm, clearly injured after this match! McIntyre grabs the mic as his music stops.
“Well, I did not come out here for a match initially.” McIntyre then states there’s a reason he always comes to work in his “uniform” because anything can happen. McIntyre then states he wanted to discuss his match with Seth Rollins last night at Money in the Bank. The Brand-to-Brand invitation. Raw delivered an invitation to SmackDown, they didn’t just accept, they CHOSE me. I’ll give ya a few hints.”
McIntyre continues, “Awful as Death, taxes. everyone hates him. I’ve worked with him, He’s a terrible, terrible man. Next week it’s gonna be Drew McIntyre the master of the Claymore vs. King Corbin. I’m excited, I’m proud of ya. You stepped up. I’m gonna have a Claymore fit, for a King set up for you. I’m excited, you don’t wanna miss this match with me and Corbin, I’m gonna rip his head off!”
Quick Announcements
Once again the commentary team discusses Randy Orton and Edge entering the ring together, questioning if there will be a collision.
Then they state The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders are going to have a basketball match, later.
Finally, we see Alexa Bliss backstage applying makeup to Nikki Cross as we head to commercial break.
Backstage
MVP walks up to Bobby Lashley and MVP begins to speak. What are you doing fighting the Alberto Carrillo’s. When’s the last time you fought for the championship? I’ll tell you, 2007.” MVP points out that’s when he (MVP) got his start, and looks where he is now.
MVP then makes note that Lashley has been doing the same thing for 13 years. MVP finally asks, “When is Lashley gonna let Lashley out?” MVP adds that that is a retorical question, and tells Lashley not to answer. MVP states he has to go get ready for his match. MVP walks away from Lashley. Further on, MVP looks up to see Lana standing backstage in front of him.
MVP stops to speak to Lana, stating, “If Lashley is looking for a way out, tell him to holler at me.” Lana shouts, “Who do you think you are??? How dare you!! Ahhhh!”
A Moment of Bliss
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross make their way out as their music sounds in the Performance Center. Alexa sits down in one of the chairs already set up in the ring for the make-shift set of “A Moment of Bliss” show. Nikki Cross looks excited about her makeup that Alexa applied before the start of the show.
Bliss begins stating that the audience’s eyes are not deceiving them. Bliss adds they are on the road and at a perfect time. Bliss congratulates Becky Lynch, adding it couldn’t be announced at a better time, as Mother’s Day was yesterday. “The Man… becomes “The Mom,” Nikki states. Then Nikki gives a “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the mothers. Billie K The Iiconics interrupt. Bliss tells Peyton Royce and Billie K to not get their panties in a bunch. Bliss continues, a teenie tiny baby ended up stealing their thunder.
Iiconic state they want to fight Bliss and Cross for the titles, tonight. Cross states they aren’t going to go into a match just because Billie and Peyton were upstaged by something as big as a jellybean. The two then do their little “Iiconic” pose. Nikki looks ready, as she pulls her chair out of the ring, then starts removing pieces of the set as we head to commercial. (Looks as though we’re going to have a Women’s Tag-Team match when we return!)
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. The Iiconics
The Australian Duo of Billie K and Peyton Royce ready to take on Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross with lots of back and forth action, seemingly not missing a beat as they make their return. Billie lands a cover on Nikki in the center of the ring, Nikki kicks out at two. Peyton tags in, Peyton and Billie Double Team Cross. Cross rolls Peyton for a pin attempt, Peyton kicks out at two.
There are more back and forth kick outs. Peyton stomps the hand of Nikki Cross, then lands a Strike to the back of Peyton as Billie K goes for the cover as she tags in. Bliss almost enters to save, Nikki able to kick out on her own. Billie stretching the arm of Nikki, Nikki trying to reach Bliss for the tag. Royce makes the tag, Peyton trips up Cross. More double team action, followed by a cover.
Once again, Nikki kicks out. Peyton yanks Nikki by the hair. Nikki and Peyton both go down in the center of the ring. Cross crawls to Bliss and makes the tag as Billie makes the tag. Big Right Hand, Five Feet of Fury, then a pin attempt, Billie K with a cheap shot to the throat. Double team by Iiconic, landing Cross face first in the center of the ring as Peyton tags in. A cover by Peyton on Cross for the three count.

Backstage – Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio discusses being thrown off the top of the WWE Headquarters building where he saw his life flash before his eyes. Caruso continues on to discuss the upcoming match of Mysterio and Black vs. Rollins and Murphy.
At this point, Rollins walks up to Mysterio, just staring. Mysterio states, “Being a father, truly changes your life, I’m truly happy for you.” Mysterio extends his hand, Rollins says nothing and walks away. “What a dick” Mysterio whispers as he walks away.
Backstage – R-Truth Has “Back-Up”
R-Truth was backstage and said he had his cousin Pretty Ricky if they needed more help. Truth turned around, put in his fake teeth, and then said, “I’m back” as Pretty Ricky.
We head to commercial break.
Ricochet, Cedric Alexander, and R-Truth vs. MVP, Brendan Vink, and Shane Thorne.
I apologize, this match-up glitched for me, unfortunately. I got the show back up just in time to see Truth pins MVP for the win. A full detail recall of the match will be updated at the end of the show so we can keep moving forward and not fall behind on the show!

Backstage
Shayna Baszler, “How stupid do you have to be, to get knocked up while you are the champion.” “gives all that away just to house some miserable parasite? Imagine Lynch barefoot and pregnant, laying on the couch, fat, eating bon-bons”
Baszler finishes her uncalled for rant by stating, “That kid is going to suck,” Baszler said. “Do you know who the father is? I rest my case”
Broadcast Table
Byron is disgusted by Baszler’s response to the joyful news. Phillips refuses to dignify Baszler’s comment with a response at all. Phillips switches topics to the Undertaker’s “Last Ride” docu-series. Phillips then sends us in to a video clip from the show.
Backstage
AJ Styles is kicked back with a bag of popcorn as the video ends of the preview of Undertaker’s Last Ride. Styles sits up and throws the popcorn and kicks the foot stool over, stomping out of the room.
Backstage – Becky Lynch
We see Becky Lynch backstage hugging Vince McMahon. Due to no audio, we don’t know what they are laughing about or what Lynch said.
Rey Mysterio & Aleister Black vs. Seth Rollins & Murphy
Back in the Performance Center, we see Rey Mysterio make his way to the ring as his music sounds. Mysterio makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Out next is Aleister Black as his music sounds. Black makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring with tag-team partner, Mysterio. Out next is Murphy, and Seth Rollins with an odd look on his face. All four men are in the ring. The bell rings and the match begins with Murphy in for his tag-team and Black in for his.
Murphy attempts to communicate with Seth Rollins who continues to stare off into the distance. Rollins not even laced up properly, as noted by the commentary team. Rollins hair is a mess around his face as he holds on to the top rope, looking out into nothingness, clearly “not home”. Shoulders down on Murphy by Black, Murphy kicks out. Both men back to their feet.
Mysterio tags in. Black with a Leg Sweep on Murphy who is now in a “handicap match” as the commentary team calls it. Murphy slows down Mysterio. Murphy catches the leg of Mysterio. Black tags in and lands a Kick to the face of Murphy, going for the cover. Murphy kicks out. Back to their feet, Murphy powers Black into the corner. Murphy shouts to Seth, “Seth, Hey!” Rollins says nothing. Black does a back-flip off the ropes.
Murphy slides in on his stomach, Black drops to an Indian style sitting position as Murphy looks up, eye to eye with Black. Once again, Murphy attempts to get the attention of Rollins. Commentary discusses the match between Rollins and McIntyre last night. They note that Rollins shook the hand of McIntyre at the request of McIntyre after the match.
Black lands a Kick on Murphy, knocking him to the outside, seemingly passed out. Rollins doesn’t flinch or turn his attention to his disciple. Murphy knocks Black to the apron as we head to commercial break.
As we return from commercial break, Black and Murphy exchange Kicks. Black tags Mysterio. Mysterio lands a Seated Senton, quickly picking up the pace in this match. Mysterio lands a Crossbody, then knocks Murphy out of the ring. Murphy is thrown into the barricade. Murphy back in the ring, Mysterio head up top. Crossbody by Mysterio, Murphy rolls Mysterio up for the counter Face planting Murphy, heading into another cover, Murphy kicks out once again.
Murphy shoves Mysterio into the corner where Rollins is standing. Mysterio with a shot to Rollins unintentionally. Murphy caught up in the ropes, Mysterio goes for the 619, Rollins grabs Mysterio by the legs, as they go through the ropes, yanking him out of the ring. The referee signals for the bell.
Winners: Rey Mysterio & Aleister Black (Due To Disqualification)
After the Match
Murphy goes over to assist, Rollins shouts, “No! No! Stay back!” pointing to the back “It’s not your fault Rey, it’s not your fault!” Rollins eyes look sadistic. Rollins shoves Mysterio face first into the corner of the stairs, Mysterio bleeding, his eye dug into the corner. Officials come down, stating they have to take the mask off. Mysterio struggles with that at first, then gives in. They cover his face with a towel. Mysterio crying in agony.
Rollins closes his eyes with a look of gratification as he walks away. Rollins eyes open again, a blank stare returns to his face as we head to commercial.
Trainer Room
Still selling his injury, we see officials looking at Rey Mysterio. Aleister Black is standing at Mysterio’s head as they examine him with a flashlight, blood still covering his face. Rollins starts calling out from the hallway, “Rey? Rey?” As Rollins and Murphy walk into the room, Rollins states he doesn’t know what happened out there. Black attacks Rollins, Murphy blocks and Black and Murphy begin fighting.
Rollins simply walks to the next room, leaving Murphy behind to fend for himself.
Broadcaster’s Table
As we re-enter the Performance Center, we see a stunned Saxton, Samoa Joe, and Phillips. Saxton states what Seth Rollins did to Rey Mysterio was disgustingly reprehensible . Samoa Joe states he’s done horrible things with the intent for opportunities, this had no reason, it was just sadistic.
Video Clip – Basketball Court Earlier Today
We see Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits standing in their basketball gear inside an indoor basketball court. The two are practicing, as the camera pans out, we see Erik and Ivar of the Viking Raiders watching from a distance.
Ivar states, “Ohhhh I get it, you put the ball, in the hoop. Anything you can do, we can do better!” alley-oop, but Ivar threw the ball so high that it hit a ceiling tile. Montez and Angelo laugh and mock the bunk shot as we head to commercial break.
Backstage – Natalya Confronts Shayna
As we return from commercial break, we see Shayna Baszler shadow boxing by herself as Natalya walks up. Natalya begins, “Hey, Shayna, do you know how bad it makes you look to disrespect the miracle that is motherhood?”
Baszler responds asking Natalya what she knows about motherhood. Natalya finishes stating, “I can’t wait to teach you some manners tonight.
Shayna Baszler vs. Natalya
Shayna Baszler and Natalya both make their way to the ring separately as their music played them down the ramp and into the ring one by one. The referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and the match begins. Early on, Baszler takes control of Natalya and the match. Baszler backs Natalya into a corner, landing a massive Kick to the leg of Natalya, dropping her to the canvas in pain.
Baszler looks at this to take advantage as she attempts the Arm Break Stomp, Natalya slides away. Natalya attempts to roll up Baszler for the pin, Baszler counters and gets to her feet, landing a Knee on Natalya, following with a pin for the three count.
Winner: Shayna Baszler
Edge and Orton In-Ring Face to Face
As we return to the Performance Center once again, Edge is announced as his music begins, “You think you know me…” Edge makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Edge talks about his come back after nine years, and how it was called a “miraculous return”. Edge continues on to discuss the events that lead to his match with former tag-team partner and friend, Randy Orton.
Next, Edge asks the question, “So what is next for Edge in the WWE?” Edge continues as he states, “I know Wrestlemania is not the end for Edge.” Edge states he saw RAW last week, where it was said that The Rated R Superstar was hunting The Viper. Edge states no one asked him.
Edge continues, stating he got what he wanted in the Last Man Standing match. Edge states he and his family are ready to move on. “I hear voices in my head” we hear Randy Orton’s music sounds in the Performance Center, interrupting Edge’s speech. Orton begins to speak as he steps face-to-face with Edge. “Congratulations,” Orton begins. “At Wrestlemania… the better man won.” Orton nods at Edge, then exits the ring.
Orton’s music sounds. Orton stops to look at Edge, Edge looks at Orton, then looks away. Orton laughs as he stands on the ramp. Orton says, “I tried, I tried. I tried to be the bigger man and bite my tongue.” Orton says he can’t lie to himself, and he can’t lie to Edge. The better man won, that’s true. But the better wrestler, didn’t.” Orton then states Edge’s return was a little convenient, as he was able to hide behind 29 other superstars.
Orton then states, Edge chose the match. Orton makes a point that he may not have been able to get up by the count of 10, but it didn’t take him nine years to get back up. Orton states in his opinion, Edge hasn’t wrestled in almost a decade, “And ya know what, I don’t think ya got it in ya anymore. Ahh… I’ve known you for a long time, I know that look. You’ve got doubt in your eyes. You got grit. Grit and Passion. But all your grit doesn’t compare to my natural ability. All your passion isn’t gonna help you now. Now you, once went on record to say that I was one of the best, and I was a future hall of famer.
Orton continues, “You even said now that you’re back on RAW, you’re going to make Randy Orton a better performer. So I think, Guts. If you’ve got the guts, then at Backlash, it’ll be Edge vs. Orton. In a straight up, wrestling match.” Orton is inches from Edge at this point. Caruso asks, “Edge, do you have a response?” Edge hesitates, saying nothing. Caruso ends the meeting as the show goes off the air, Edge still saying nothing.
